$400
Saturday Mornings, July 13th - August 17th 10am-12pm
Our ‘Continuing Jewelry Making’ Course is designed for those wanting to continue to expand their knowledge in the jewelry studio. This course is project-based, meaning students will come in with their own designs and goals and the curriculum will tailor itself to the needs of the students. We believe this approach will provide the space for independence and creativity to flourish, all while exploring your personal aesthetic in your jewelry making journey.
Students should come prepared with designs and goals for what to learn, and can expect to complete at least two-three finished pieces. Students should have basic knowledge of sawing, texturing, annealing, soldering and stone setting. During the course, we will be able to expand upon these skillsets and introduce new ones such as fold forming, patinas, tube settings, reticulation, enameling and more.
This course includes:
12 hours of instructor-led coursework
1 month free as a member in our studio with unlimited open studio hours
Copper and Brass Materials
All tools and equipment needed for the duration of the course

Students are encouraged to bring their own personal hand tools and/or silver and stones if they want to work with what they are used to! We will have some silver for purchase and will provide our student code to purchase materials from Rio Grande prior to the class if wanted.
