Take your sewing skills further by making a pair of relaxed, easy-to-wear linen pants or shorts! In this two-session workshop (three hours each night), you'll work through the full process of garment construction—from fabric cutting to sewing and finishing details—using the ZW Block Pant pattern by Birgitta Helmersson.

Along the way, you’ll learn how to:

• Read and work from a sewing pattern

• Cut fabric efficiently with a zero-waste design approach

• Sew and finish seams for durability and a clean look

• Create an adjustable, comfortable elastic waistband

This class is built for those who have taken Intro to Sewing or are already proficient at using a sewing machine. Students are required to purchase the ZW Block Pant PDF pattern before class (link provided upon registration). All other materials are included in the class fee. Students will be able to choose their fabric from 3 100% linen fabrics in these color variations: oatmeal, black, oatmeal/burnt orange ink splatter.
