studio memberships

Fleur has three distinct spaces that flow into one another:

The main studio has large work tables, a couch and seating area, a kitchenette stocked with drip and single serve coffee, an electric kettle, mini fridge, and microwave, and a growing resource library. Free wifi throughout.

The private alleyway is an outdoor space with tables and string lights. Think of it as our little secret garden. It connects the main studio to the metals studio and is available to members during open hours.

The metals studio is a fully equipped jewelry making workspace.

We are building out resources for more mediums over time and letting our community help shape what gets added.

Hand Tools

• Pliers, shears, and ring clamps

• Hammers and mallets

• Mandrels

• Bezel pushers and burnishers

• Dapping block and punches

• Scrap brass and copper

Torching (proficiency required)

Three soldering stations, each equipped with:

• Acetylene torch

• Soldering block, charcoal block, and annealing pan

• Copper tongs, tweezers, soldering picks, and paint brushes

• Water quenching bowl

• Handy flux

Please bring your own solder.

Sand casting is available at $10 per session and includes use of flasks, crucibles, and casting torches.

Power, Rotary and Finishing (proficiency required)

• 4 flex shafts (please bring your own attachments)

• Drill press

• Buffing lathe

• Tumbler

Memberships are open to anyone 18 or older who has taken at least one class at Fleur. All memberships start with a studio tour and a short introductory meeting. Tours are available every Friday between 10am and 6pm.

The metals studio is a shared professional space and members are expected to work independently and safely. You should feel confident using any tool or equipment before your session. Studio support staff are on site during open hours and can answer questions, but are not there to instruct or supervise individual work.

Studio hours vary by membership tier:

Studio Membership Fridays and Saturdays, 10am to 6pm

Weekday Metals Access and Studio Collective Fridays and Saturdays, 10am to 6pm Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1pm to 8pm Sundays, 10am to 5pm.

Studio availability is always subject to change due to private classes and events. We recommend checking the calendar and booking your spot in advance so you are never caught off guard.

Studio time is for members only. We keep the space small on purpose and are not able to accommodate guests at this time.

All studio time is reserved in advance through Acuity. Appointments are available in one hour slots and begin at the top of the hour.

When booking, you will reserve time for either open studio (main studio use) or metals bench access. For metals bench time and other paid resources, the hourly fee is collected at the time of booking.

Studio time is subject to availability and can change due to private classes and events, so we always recommend booking ahead. Checking the calendar before you come in is the best way to make sure your spot is confirmed.

Studio support staff are on site during all open hours. The space is designed for independent work, and someone is always around if you need help navigating things.

For main studio use, bring whatever materials your project needs.

For metals bench time, plan to bring your own consumables:

• Non-ferrous metals only (brass, copper, silver, or gold)

• Solder

• Files and saw blades

• Sandpaper

• Flex shaft attachments

No minimum commitment. Cancel any time by emailing hello@fleurdenver.com with your name and the date you would like to end your membership. Access closes on that date and fees already paid are non-refundable.
