In this introductory Block Printing Workshop, you'll explore different techniques and design your own custom block. You'll cut out your design in sticky-back foam and then adhere it onto a wooden block, choose your paint colors, and start printing on your table runner. Once your printing is complete, we'll go back and touch up any areas before you take your finished piece home!

This class is perfect for those new to painting or DIY projects.

In this three-hour Linocut Workshop, participants will learn the basics of relief printmaking by carving a 4 × 6 inch linoleum block and printing their own original design. You’ll be guided through simple techniques for transferring an image, safe carving methods, and hand-printing with a selection of provided inks. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a finished print as well as your carved block, which can be used as a stamp to create more prints at home. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials are included.
