2026 registration opens March 15th @12pm

This summer, Fleur is opening our studio doors to the next generation of makers.

As a community of working artists, we know firsthand how important it is to explore your creativity at a young age. We have been offering workshops to adults in Denver for over three years, and we are so excited that our community and our space have grown to welcome a younger generation into the studio.

Our Summer Youth Workshops are designed for curious creative minds ages 8-13 who are ready to explore their artistic selves. We teach and empower our young students to work with real tools, practicing real techniques. Each week-long session runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 12pm at our studio in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood.

Browse the four sessions below to find the right fit, and sign up for first access before registration opens on March 15.

2026 schedule

Summer Program Details

  • Summer workshops run Monday through Friday, 9am to 12pm. Drop-off begins at 8:45am and pickup is between 11:45am and 12pm. These are structured half-day sessions and we ask that drop-off and pickup stay within those windows.

  • Fleur summer workshops are designed for young makers ages 8 to 13.

  • All summer workshops are led by Elisabeth Strunk, a Colorado-based teaching artist and credentialed Art Educator whose background spans studio practice, museum education, and years in the classroom. With a degree in Art Education and over a decade of experience working with young people, she brings a deep understanding of how children learn, grow, and thrive creatively. A second teaching artist is present at every session.

  • Each workshop is capped at 12 students, with two adults on-site throughout every session. We keep our workshops small, maintaining a 1:6 adult child ratio.

  • All materials are provided. Students just need to show up ready to create. We recommend dressing for the studio - clothes that can handle paint, ink, clay, or whatever the week involves - and ask that all kiddos wear closed toed shoes.

  • These are half-day workshops, so no meal is needed. You're welcome to send along a small snack and a water bottle!

  • Each week is its own standalone experience centered on a different medium and set of skills. Students are absolutely welcome to register for multiple sessions.

  • If you need to cancel or transfer a registration, please contact us at least 48 hours before the first day of the workshop. Refunds are not available, but your credit can be applied toward another Fleur workshop or class. Requests within 48 hours of the start date cannot be accommodated and no credit will be given.
