Printmaking is one of the most satisfying mediums there is — bold, hands-on, and endlessly surprising. Students will discover how images are built, transferred, and multiplied through techniques like relief printing, texture printing, and repeated patterns, creating bold, graphic artwork across the week. Every student leaves with a small portfolio of prints to take home.

Schedule

Drop-off begins at 8:45am. Class starts at 9am and wraps between 11:45am and 12pm. These are half-day sessions with no lunch period — please plan pickup within that window.

Class Size and Supervision

Workshops are capped at 12 students. Two adults are on-site for every session, including lead instructor Elisabeth Strunk, maintaining a 1:6 ratio throughout the morning.

Your Instructor

Elisabeth Strunk is a Colorado-based teaching artist whose background spans studio practice, museum coordination, and 10+ years in the classroom. With a degree in Art Education and over a decade of experience working with young people, she brings a deep understanding of how children learn, grow, and thrive creatively.

Materials/What to Bring

Everything is included! Please have your students wear closed toed shoes and clothes meant for art-making. No meal is provided, your child is welcome to bring snacks and a water bottle.

Cancellations and Transfers

Please contact us at least 48 hours before the first day if you need to cancel or transfer. Registrations are non-refundable, but your credit will carry over to any other Fleur workshop or class. Requests within 48 hours cannot be accommodated. Full policy: https://fleurdenver.com/policies
