This workshop is for the young makers who like to work with their hands! Students will think beyond the flat page and work in three dimensions, using materials like clay, wire, cardboard, and found objects to build imaginative sculptures while exploring form, balance, and structure. Projects emphasize creative problem-solving and the confidence that comes from bringing an idea to life with your own two hands.

Schedule

Drop-off begins at 8:45am. Class starts at 9am and wraps between 11:45am and 12pm. These are half-day sessions with no lunch period — please plan pickup within that window.

Class Size and Supervision

Workshops are capped at 12 students. Two adults are on-site for every session, including lead instructor Elisabeth Strunk, maintaining a 1:6 ratio throughout the morning.

Your Instructor

Elisabeth Strunk is a Colorado-based teaching artist whose background spans studio practice, museum coordination, and 10+ years in the classroom. With a degree in Art Education and over a decade of experience working with young people, she brings a deep understanding of how children learn, grow, and thrive creatively.

Materials/What to Bring

Everything is included! Please have your students wear closed toed shoes and clothes meant for art-making. No meal is provided, your child is welcome to bring snacks and a water bottle.

Cancellations and Transfers
