Watercolor Open Studio
Fridays, 12–2 PM | $25
Bring Your Own Supplies or Use Ours | All Skill Levels Welcome
Looking to relax, experiment, or just spend time painting? This open studio session invites you to explore watercolor at your own pace in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Whether you’ve taken a class before or want a quiet space to reconnect with your materials, you’ll find space, support, and inspiration here.
A teaching artist will be on hand to answer questions and offer optional demos, but this is not a guided class—more like a chill painting club with light structure and good vibes.
What’s Included:
2-hour open studio access
Optional demos and light guidance from a teaching artist
Shared supplies: pencils, erasers, pens, brushes, and communal watercolor palettes (for in-studio use only)
Still life setups and reference imagery for inspiration
What to Bring:
Your own watercolor paints and paper, if possible
Supply Recommendations:
Local: Meininger Art Supply (Broadway & 5th) for individual paints and paper pads
Online: Blick Art Materials – great for kits, sketchbooks, and watercolor sets
Note: Best suited for participants who’ve used watercolor before or have taken a class, but curious beginners are welcome too.
