Have a sewing pattern you’ve been meaning to start but aren’t sure where to begin? This class is designed to help you confidently take those first steps! Bring your own pattern and fabric, and we’ll guide you through:

• Measuring yourself to choose the right pattern size

• Understanding pattern markings (notches, adjustment lines, etc.)

• Cutting out your pattern pieces correctly

• Laying out and cutting your fabric efficiently

• Reviewing your pattern instructions so you know what to do next

Think of this as a kickstart for your project—perfect for those who have taken Intro to Sewing or Alterations and are ready to tackle their first garment. No sewing machines required, just your pattern, fabric, and a little motivation!
